Charchuterie boards.... huh...?
Hey folks,
Charchuterie boards…. I know… I know… why is this on my site… well I get that a lot. I post lots of things I do, not all, but some that are more interesting. I got into this wood working thing a while back. It started with suiseki and daiza stands. It morphed into small furniture pieces and tables, and tambour credenzas… well, you get it. I like this stuff. Bonsai is without a doubt MY JAM, but sometimes we can't work on trees and this is where other projects like this one come to the rescue.
I did these for myself at first, then family saw them and then friends and then some local businesses and now it is it's own thing. I enjoy the process of transforming the raw stock into something we serve others with. That's a pretty cool thing in my book.
These are all made of Idaho Black Walnut.
All are treated with food-grade oil and meant to be used to serve food (not just look pretty)
Clean with a damp rag and mild soap. Re-treat as needed with cutting board oil.
See its simple↑
Anyhow, Here are some photos of boards I have made for folks. You can also catch my work at:
