Everyone has someone they admire....

Everyone gets inspired by someone....

Everyone has someone who motivates them....

For me, this person is my daughter. She has an amazing work ethic, a huge heart and a genuine appreciation for everyone and their viewpoint. It is rare now-a-days to see someone with so many amazing qualities and characteristics.

I have been fortunate enough to spend lots of time with my daughter working on projects, goofing off, driving around, hitting the movies or just hanging out. She will spend hours with me working on trees, cleaning pots, sharpening tools, setting up displays, collecting suiseki, digging yamadori, pruning trees or wiring.... She's been there, she's done that, she has provided insight and shown amazing amounts of patience and not just for the hobby but for and towards her dad.

Not to get too emotional, but I know what that takes.... & I appreciate every second of that interaction, especially as I have grown older. The true beauty is that it comes so naturally.
